Utility Engineer Projects

Education: B.Tech Mechanical

The candidate should have a strong background in utility systems, including boilers, pumping
systems, water treatment plants, Effluent treatment plants, Ammonia refrigeration, Oil storage,
and HVAC systems. This role requires a proactive individual with excellent project execution skills
and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team. Knowledge in effluent recycle
system and zero liquid discharge shall be preference.

Project:
Plan & schedule the daily tasks as per the Gantt chart for the installation & commissioning of the entire utility system.
Coordinate with various vendors for timely delivery of the equipment.
Site visit of the different vendors for FAT of different sets of equipment.
Reviewing plans for new construction projects to ensure that they comply with local codes and regulations
Risk assessment and management with proper escalation matrix to ensure project delivery is not hampered.
Heat and mass balance of water, boiler house, ETP, air system, ammonia system.
Planning and coordinating designing with detail engineer company for new utility systems.
Coordination for construction projects to ensure that they meet engineering standards.
Coordinating work with contractors to ensure that construction projects are completed on time and within budget.
Conducting inspections at construction sites to ensure that work is progressing according to plans and standards.
Ensuring the quality and standards of equipment to ensure that it meets the project requirements.
Planning and scheduling of projects as per the agreed timelines.
Resource allocation and conflict management with both internal and external stakeholders
Creating project dashboards, review reports, cost control reports, variance reports etc.

Compliance: Ensure all utility systems comply with local, state, and federal regulations and safety
standards. Familiar with CPCB, NGT, CGWA requirements.
Documentation: Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, inspections, and repairs.
Team Collaboration: Work closely with other engineers, technicians, and departments to support
overall facility operations.

Educational and Practical requirements:
Experience: 6-8 years of experience in utility projects with specific expertise in boilers,
Refrigeration, pumping systems, water treatment plants, Piping layout, and HVAC systems.
Certifications: PMC would be added advantage.
