Supervisor Aircraft Interior – Airbus 320

Job Summary
Supervising all aircraft interior and back shops operations for direct support of assigned aircraft projects and ensuring adequate resources, manpower / expertise, tools, parts and materials are available to fulfil.

Duties & Responsibilities

  1. Ensuring that all subordinates working on the assigned aircraft input are aware of related safety and quality issues and ensuring that staff follows the correct references using the related tools to perform the task.
  2. Establishing standard of interior design and quality to ensure that all interior operations performed on assigned aircraft shall meet airworthiness criteria and certification requirements.
  3. Ensuring all work assigned is accomplished with high quality standards, practices, completed in a timely fashion within approved capabilities of MRO’s and is performed/inspected by qualified technicians.
  4. Assigning all work designated for the assigned shop using the available staff (technicians) and in coordination with the General Foreman, Interior.
  5. Determining qualifications of all technicians prior to work assignment in addition to assisting and training them in order to ensure proper work procedures and practices.
  6. Ensuring proper execution of parts tags attached to repairable, serviceable or condemned parts, and ensuring that all serviceable tags are installed on components or placed in the proper work package in accordance with approved inspection procedures manual.
  7. Preparing periodic reports with respect to Interior Department activities and achievements to be
    submitted to the General Foreman, Interior.
  8. Following-up on subordinates’ affairs including vacations, leaves…etc.
  9. Carrying out performance appraisals for subordinates according to scheduled plans and recommending necessary actions.

Job Requirements
Qualifications / Licenses
– Diploma Degree in Aeronautical, Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
– Certification as an Airframe and Power plant Mechanic (FAA and/or PCA)
