JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
1) General Work Related Duties
Participate in Crop and Plant inspections – Genetic.
Participate in crop and plant inspections – Disease/ERT
QMS support –
Risk Assessment of production area
Give advice and guidance to Field Production Team for daily activities to comply with CSP.
Seedling inspection and audit distribution process
Enhance the knowledge of PGO test by practicing and accompanying with PGO expert.
Implement continuous improvement project findings on field quality tests like Cost saving, efficiency enhancement etc.
Participate in genetic data analysis with Quality Support Centre before or during Production Area Analysis.
Support ERT Team on investigating the root cause when the critical diseases are found, and report to FQA supervisor.
Support complaint analysis in relation to genetic purity.
2) Environment, Health and Safety
Implement, maintain and review PPE, MSDS, Safety measures at site.
Conduct internal safety audits from time to time.
GENERAL JOB CHARACTERISTICS
Percentage of travel: 20 30%.
Number of hours worked/week: 40 – 50 hours.
Physical activity required: Considerable walking in site (Crop fields) and QA sites.
Working with computers: 2 – 3 hours per day.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
Education: Bachelor/master’s degree in Agriculture / Horticulture (Minimum requirement).
Experience: Fresh candidate /Minimum 1 years in Crop Management.
PERSONAL ATTRIBUTES Candidate must be fit, self motivated, imaginative and a good
communicator. Demonstrate integrity and business code of conduct.
Knowledge of varietal identification /differentiation skills and Computer proficiency are essential.
Should have Analytical skills, Learner and Responsibility driven, fluency in English and local language is essential. Knowledge of statistical tools is nice to have.
