Aerospace Business Development Specialist – Manager

To develop and capture business through market research and market pricing strategy aiming at growing the business by establishing a solid business base in military, VIP and commercial markets.

To handle all incoming technical aircraft maintenance proposals for commercial and military aircraft through detailed review, analysis, preparation, coordination, costing, and pricing. Will coordinate with all departments to optimize the resources and prepare the final proposals for submittal. May conduct negotiations and coordinate the company strategy through to contract award.

Duties and Responsibilities

Supervise and manage all activities within the department to meet the business plan.
Develop the market research to define the opportunities to enhance the business flow.
Prepare business case study as requested
Fully accountable of Proposing plans, supervise and monitor the progress of all activities and programs to develop the activities of Proposal & Special Projects. Departments from receiving until meeting the submission due date.
Supporting the creation of annual budgets for the department that are in-line with the over-all business plan and assisting in managing the department’s expenditures within agreed budgets.
Carry any other activities which may be directed by his BD-Director / VP-BD .
Prepare the financial and technical proposal documents in alignment with the RFQ , RFP ,or SOR.
Reviewing and analyzing all incoming aircraft technical RFQ or RFP for Commercial and Military PDM aircraft and helicopters. In addition, establishing a submit date of the final proposal to the customer.
Coordinate the proposal with other functional departments for feasibility, profile of customer, and the risk factors concerning the performance, market, price, and financial resources.
Coordinate the proposal with Business Development Managers and Finance Division for costing of labor and material and contracts for contractual terms and conditions of the proposal.
Presenting the proposal costing, pricing, and contractual terms and conditions analysis to VP, Business Development, and the CFO for review.
Submitting the final cost and price to the president & CEO prior to the final proposal submittal to the customer.
Negotiating the proposal with customer to gain the customer approvals.
Performing new business project analysis based on business case approach of various projects with the companies strategy and visions.
Conducts research and analysis as directed by companies management team.
Preparing periodic reports with respect to the department’s activities and achievements to be submitted to the VP, Business Development
