This role requires a detail-oriented professional with excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
1 . Project Management:
Oversee the planning, design, and implementation of MEP and packaging systems for various projects.
Coordinate with architects, contractors, and other engineers to ensure seamless integration of MEP systems.
Develop project timelines, budgets, and resource plans.
Plan & schedule the daily tasks as per the Gantt chart for the installation & commissioning of the entire utility & packaging system.
Coordinate with various vendors for timely delivery of the equipment.
Site visit of the different vendors for FAT of different sets of equipment.
2. MEP Systems:
Design and implement mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems in buildings.
Conduct detailed calculations and simulations to ensure system efficiency and
compliance with standards.
Perform regular inspections and maintenance of MEP systems.
3. Packaging Systems:
Design and develop product packaging systems, ensuring they meet safety and regulatory standards.
Optimize packaging processes to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
Collaborate with production teams to ensure packaging systems are integrated
into the overall production process.
Understanding of cold ware house building
4. Quality Assurance:
Conduct quality assurance tests and inspections to ensure systems meet
performance and safety standards.
Troubleshoot and resolve any issues that arise during the installation or operation
of MEP and packaging systems.
5. Documentation and Reporting:
Prepare detailed reports, specifications, and documentation for all MEP and
packaging systems.
Maintain accurate records of project progress, system performance, and
maintenance activities.
Skills:
6 – 8 years of experience in mechanical engineering, with specific expertise in MEP
systems and packaging within food sector.
Hand on experience on selection criteria for FFS machine.
Expertise on l&C of entire packing line equipment i.e. Multi weigher header, Checkweigher,
distribution system, fast back conveyors, carton erector, case packer, palletizer, IQF etc.
Entire line expertise for frozen packing.
Understanding of hygienic engineering and building hygiene
Understanding of food safety
Strong technical knowledge of MEP and packaging systems.
Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities.
Proficiency in CAD software and other engineering tools.
Good communication and teamwork skills.
Ability to manage multiple projects and tasks simultaneously.
