- This position will work in a team environment, sometimes with remote team members, engaging in full services life-cycle, from troubleshooting, opportunity identification, application, requisition, execution and field support.
- Perform root cause analysis (RCA) and provide field support for GE Design heavy duty gas turbine field issues.
- Preparing timely and accurate technical reports for customer records on the RCA’s conducted.
- Provide technical assistance through Service Now to resolve customers gas turbine technical problems.
- He should also work with sales teams in identifying upgrade opportunities.
- The candidate will serve as a subject matter expert within the area of services engineering for gas Turbines, he is expected to work with junior staff and work with customer’s technical staff to address customer concerns.
- Interact with cross-functional teams at multiple levels, to include but not limited to: GE Fleet Support, Reliability Engineering, Application Engineering, Quality, Parts, Sourcing, RTCOE and Design COE’s Maintain a current level of understanding of fleet issues with associated corrective actions
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from an accredited college or university
Experience Range : 6-12 years
In-depth GE design Gas Turbine Flange to Flange and accessories
Ability and willingness to travel domestically and internationally, as needed
